
Did you know that our teachers are learners too? Our teachers are constantly building their own capacity and refining their craft through continuous professional growth. These teachers are focused on Cognitively Guided Instruction in math with our ISD consultants.





Did you know that every new teacher is assigned a mentor teacher for his or her first three years in education? We have some of the BEST mentors for our new teachers here at DES! They meet regularly to discuss important topics and support one another. This is how we continue to grow our profession! Go Vikings!



Check out this awesome work that 4th graders in Mrs. Marion & Mrs. England's classes did this week! They are learning about the history of Vikings and comparing that to what we expect of our DES Vikings.

More 100th Day fun!











Today we are 100 Days Smarter! We dressed like we were 100 and did fun counting activities!











Thanks for the support of our former Viking, Lane Holcomb, today at our Wear Green for Lane Day! We raised just under $500 and will donate that to his family through the fundraiser at his new school. #VikingPride








Dundee Community Schools will be closed on Thursday, February 6th, due to expected inclement weather causing icy back roads.

Dundee Community Schools are closely monitoring the weather forecast, which predicts icy conditions in Monroe County. As of now, school is scheduled to be in session on Thursday. However, families should be prepared with alternative plans in case a closure is announced later tonight or early Thursday morning.

Last week our Sunshine Team planned a fun "Underground Spirit Week" for our staff!
