First ever room transformation: Haunted House with Mrs. Cunningham's third graders
10 different stations, each one was a different math activity…As the students finished each activity they brought it to their teacher to check for errors and once it was correct, they picked a trick or a treat card. Tricks had to put their hands in secret bags and treats picked from the treat bucket.

Mrs. Clarke's third graders did math review stations today. She put a fun Halloween spin on it where if they got the station correct, they got to pull a “trick” or “treat” card. If it’s a “treat” card, they got candy! They loved it!
Congratulations to last week's cafeteria ROW Ticket winners!
What a day at DES! It was an action-packed day full of fun. First, our PTO rewarded some of our readers Crumbl Cookies with Mrs. Raymer. They also passed out 31 different prizes such as tablets, hoverboards, legos, keyboards, and much more! Our Vikings also enjoyed learning from the FFA students at the annual Fall Harvest Day! Finally, our fourth-grade poster winners spent their morning eating breakfast with some Dundee Firefighters who dropped them off at school in a firetruck. As always, it is great to be a Viking.
Thank you, PTO, for providing Pizza with Nurse Palmer for students who read at least 600 minutes for the Read a Thon!
