What a day at DES! It was an action-packed day full of fun. First, our PTO rewarded some of our readers Crumbl Cookies with Mrs. Raymer. They also passed out 31 different prizes such as tablets, hoverboards, legos, keyboards, and much more! Our Vikings also enjoyed learning from the FFA students at the annual Fall Harvest Day! Finally, our fourth-grade poster winners spent their morning eating breakfast with some Dundee Firefighters who dropped them off at school in a firetruck. As always, it is great to be a Viking.

Today students learned about a powerful message to support our PBIS and pillars while singing and dancing to some awesome music! 1. Be kind. 2. Do the right thing. 3. Make the next best choice.

Dundee Community, Effective immediately, we will be implementing two new policies in an attempt to increase the safety and security for everyone at our home varsity football games. The safety and well-being of our fans and attendees are of utmost importance to us, and these policies are to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and secure experience. Footballs, volleyballs, basketballs, etc. are no longer permitted into the facility. Allowing such items inside the venue can pose potential safety risks. This will help us maintain a safer and more controlled environment for all fans. Children aged 13 and under are to be accompanied by an adult upon entering the facility. This policy is in line with best practices for ensuring the safety and supervision of children, especially in large and busy venues. We believe this will help create a more secure environment for families attending our games. These policies are effective immediately. We kindly ask for your cooperation and understanding as we work together to make our games a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for being a part of our athletic community and we can’t wait to see you Friday as we host Ida for Senior Night! Go Vikings!
